On July 4th 1998 CPT Scott LaPiedra Passed To A Higher Level after fighting burns from the Atlantic Ave Fire...for those of you who may not know .... Scott was the only FDNY Member to have a Plaque in an NYPD Precint House...... It is in his Honor from the Fire...the reason being Scott was a LT in 80 & always went out of his way to look out for the PD 30 Pct Brothers when they came to Qtrs...His Son is carrying on OTJ .....also remember LT Jim Blackmore ENG*332 KIA at the Fire & LT Tim Stackpole Severly injured there & later KIA at the WTC on 9-11 as well as the other BROTHERS who survived & were injured at the Atlantic Ave Fire.
