Baldwin (Nassau) Working Fire - 7/13/22

The Baldwin Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] in Baldwin Park on the night of Wednesday, July 13th, 2022. The fire was in a one-story structure that contained electrical components for the park. Freeport was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 218. Baldwin Hose 3 was the first engine company to arrive on scene with Unit 203. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation under the command of Baldwin Chief of Department Cummings. The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries. Units from Freeport and Merrick were among those standing by for Baldwin during the operation. Text courtesy K2M Photography.
