Very minimal graphics on this rig. It is ladder 5 , Baltimore City, known as the “fire factory “. Lettering “ Baltimore City Fire Department “ on sides of cab below rear cab windows. Additional BCFD swirl type logo on front compartment doors of the tiller body

Older rig formerly operated by BCFD Ladder 5 at least had the department patch logo on the aerial sign plates and the rear cab doors.

Hook and Ladder Company 5 was organized on April 1, 1887. With a Hayes aerial, they occupied new quarters on Aisquith Street between Oliver and Hoffman Streets. Engine Company 9 moved in on 2/16/1969 and was disbanded several years later.
Truck 5 is once again by themselves (and EMS units) at 801 E 25th Street at Kirk Avenue.

The Baltimore City Fire Department renamed Hook and Ladder Companies as Truck Companies on January 1, 1908.
