The multi-alarm fire in an old warehouse on the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor has flared up again.

Two Bayonne fire trucks and a Jersey City fire truck are battling the blaze that appears in be in the roof and unreachable, Jersey Journal photographer Ian Bates reports from the scene.

The blaze reignited around 3 p.m. and is still going, he said.

The earlier fire, across from the Teardrop Memorial, started around noon and continued for more than an hour.

The blaze produced smoke that could be seen from Staten Island and stirred Hazmat concerns.

FFII is still at the Navy Yard as of last Monday. I believe the original Firefighter operated, and M-1 was turned around.
