I wonder who gave him and the other civilians on board permission for the trip? That's highly unusual to say the least. Has anybody heard how badly damaged Marine 1 with damaged? I'm guessing it must be pretty significant considering somebody was killed aboard it.

Gentlemen, we don’t know all the details of what happened and what the circumstances were regarding mission, permissions, etc. Our focus right now should be on thoughts and well wishes for the family members of the deceased, and wishing for the full and speedy recovery for those that are injured. Everyone talks about the brotherhood - let’s give these brothers the benefit of the doubt. Stay safe and happy Fathers Day to all.

Comment right on target. Prayers for deceased FF and injured. Investigations will follow. A tragedy.
