Blessing of the Fleet

FDNY Weekend at the Intrepid Museum. Blessing on Saturday July 16th.
 
http://www.intrepidmuseum.org/FirefighterAppreciationWeekend.aspx ...... went last year..... a nice day for all......but especially for young kids......Saturday is the best of the 2 days......FDNY Blessing of the Fleet as well as other FDNY stuff plus the regular Intrepid Museum exhibits...... bring your ID card for free admission & a 50% discount for family members.......PS... tight security at entrance ....no weapons.

 
Pretty good time. Ran over to the pier adjacent to the Intrepid for some better pictures. Downloading them now.

Here's LA CITY Fireboat 2, the Warner Lawrence. The 343 and FFII are based on this design, and were built by the same company.
I snagged this the weekend before.
