Update Structure Fire; INC#0984; 03:55PM; 2843 E 11th St; https://bit.ly/3cQg2vW; #BoyleHeights; Currently, more than 180 firefighters continue fighting the blaze, which has now burned five occupancies in this one-story row of commercials. Firefighters remain in the defensive mode. At least one occupancy has sustained a partial collapse. Three firefighters encountered an electrical hazard and are being evaluated by paramedics on scene. All three appear to be in good condition. No other reported injuries. So far, there are no reported injuries. KNOCKDOWN Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#0984; 04:12PM; 2843 E 11th St; https://bit.ly/3cQg2vW; #BoyleHeights; With 19 engines and 13 trucks on scene from LAFD, with assistance from LA County Fire Department, this incident is classified as a "Major Emergency." One additional firefighter was transported in fair condition after sustaining injuries related to falling debris (4 total FF transported). No other reported injuries. All active flames have been extinguished by over 180 firefighters in two hours. Five occupancies in the one-story row of commercials were involved in the blaze. LAFD Heavy Equipment and RS3 are on scene assisting.
