Carbon Dioxide Leak at LAX 10/31/22

Four LAX airport employees were sickened, one critical after a carbon dioxide leak Monday.

Shell Oil had a ten story office building on OST off Fannin Street since torn down. Three or four floors were full of computers used for Shell credit card operations. Pre-fire planning for that building prohibited operations on those floors due to the presence of a halon suppression system. I would guess all those systems have been replaced with carbon dioxide systems- even more human unfriendly.

Thank you do they have there own trucks?
I don't really know a whole lot about it, I'm just going by what I find online. Here's some info that could help you.

LAFD HazMat Response

As far as the ARFF trucks go, they were not on this incident since this was inside the airport building and not an aircraft fire which the ARFF trucks handle.
