8000 Blk. of S. Ellis Ave., Chatham, South Side. Fire went to a 2-11(2nd ) Alarm.

Came in as a Still in the 23rd Battalion for Engine 122, Engine 72, Tower Ladder 34, and Truck 42.

Englewood Dispatch Office upgraded the assignment to a Full Still(Working Fire) for multiple calls reporting fire in the rear. Englewood then struck the Still & Box for reports of victims trapped on the 2nd floor. Engine 122 arrived o/l and reported fire showing from the rear of a 3-story 50'x60' wood-frame ordinary OMD. Engine 72 arrived o/l and led out several lines to the Sector 3 side from the 80th St. alley.

2-11 Alarm struck for heavy fire conditions w/extension to the rear porches of the Exposure 2 building, a large 3-story 100'x75' brick "U"-shaped OMD. Engine 126 took the hydrant on Dobson and led out w/2 lines through the alley, while Engine 82 took the hydrant on the corner of 80th St. and Ellis.

The 2-11 Alarm was struck out by 2-2-6 at 1619hrs.
