CHICAGO FIRE DEPT.
MAIN FIRE ALARM, MAIN EMS OFFICE
Chicago FD ALS Ambulance 23 involved in MVA
7/18/14 ..... approx. 1600 hours
N. Harlem Avenue & W. Bryn Mawr Avenue

According to what I saw on ABC 7 News video:
"Brand new" ALS Ambulance 23 (out of E113's house), in service for no more than a month, involved in a crash with a civilian SUV at the intersection. Moderate/heavy damage to the front end of the ambo. At least 2 transported (probably both CFD Medic's) to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Probably on the scene, at least:
Engine 119, Truck 55
Squad 2/2A
Battalion 11
Deputy District Chief 2-2-2
EMS Field Chief 4-5-3
At least 2 ALS Ambulance's

I am not sure. Maybe because all the ambulance's in that area were busy and 23 had to "take a ride" up that far north. Or maybe they went on Trauma Bypass to "Resurrection Hospital, on Talcott", which is a couple blocks from the crash scene. Or a combination of both reasons are true. I don't know all of the details, exactly.

I now have a better update:
