One Chicago firefighter has died and two others are in stable condition following a 3-11 alarm fire on the city's Far South Side.

Very SAD News once again as One Firefighter suffers a LODD.
I certainly hope that the other two firefighters do okay.

My very sincere condolences to the Brothers and Sisters of the Chicago Fire Department and certainly to his Family members and friends.

Let us not forget to "pray for them as they go past - every ride might be their last".

May he Rest in Peace.

The deceased firefighter has been identified as 49 year old Jermaine Pelt, a 18 veteran of the department. He was assigned to Engine Company 75.
