Chicago squads.

"but ALF said they had to have at least 4, so they turned them down". Great move by ALF, look where that got them!

If you do get a chance to visit Squad 2 @ Engine 91's house, new CFD protocol prohibits inside shots of the rigs and equipment and tools! Do not have a definite reason why!

That's certainly strange, most departments want to show off their new equipment to buffs in the public. It's great PR and certainly can't harm anything. Of course we are talking about Chicago!

I didn't realize that the airport had a snorkel for a second piece, I thought they had a mini type pumper for there second piece

In addition to the second piece snorkel unit also have a RM TL, talk about over-kill. But Squad 7 will pick up some work off the airport property, wonder how the FAA is going to like that, after all they paid for it.

Does the RM TL ever respond off airport property? I know I have read an article saying that the squad will but I was wondering about the other conventional firefighting units at the airport.

TL does not leave the property. If it needs to leave another TL, if available, goes to the airport. Then the other TL can leave.
