Today the Homewodd (ILL) FD suffered a Line Of Duty Death. He was a 28 yar old FF with 4 months the job They attempted o make a rescue of a 87 year old individual confined to a wheel chair. Initial reports were that there were several explosions resulting from oxygen tanks. In addition a female FF suffered first and second degree burns nd is in seriouse condition. My prayers go out to my brothe and sister FF's on tis dak dy :'(
