Bars .taverns, pubs, and joints are interesting places to find people and usually reflect the culture and population, In fact, just like it's fire department. Chicago certainly proves the point. Any place that threatens the life of Bozo is gonna be unique.
I noted that Sam (Sotirios) Sianis recently passed away, His uncle "Billy" owned the Billy Goat Tavern and when he died in 1970, Sam took over. Founded originally in 1934 and is now underneath the 400 block of North Michigan Avene. The joint gained fame when the bar mascot goat Murphy, got tossed out of the owner's box at Wrigley Field during a World Series game in 1945 for stinking, You cannot throw a Greek and his goat out of a game without repercussions. Billy put a curse on the Cubs which lasted until 2016.
The Billy Goat later found notoriety in 1978 for "The Olympia Restaurant" cheezeborger sketch on Saturday Night Live.

Then, we have Jim's Fire Barn-
Located at 5159 S Wood Street. The quarters of Engine 116 and Squad 9 was at 5259 S. Wood Street from 1908 to 1976 ( Squad 9 from March, 1949 to September, 1968).
According to Ken Little, the place (an old blacksmith shop) was wall-to-wall CFD- photos on the wall, helmets, badge display behind the bar, tools. models, toys, blaring radio, elbow-to-elbow members, buffs, and the owner- Jim Rzonka.
Whenever the Squad was responding north up Wood Street, they would stop at "The Barn" and Jim (with gear) ran out and made the rig. Jim's two sons- Jim and John became CFD firefighters.
