Cincinnati Fire Department battled a house fire in the far north Hartwell neighborhood late Saturday evening. Multiple callers reported a house on fire and explosions heard. Crews arrived to find heavy fire from the house as well as an RV that was parked in the driveway next to the house. Homeowners reported that the explosion was from a propane tank on the property and that there was also live ammunition in the RV. A second alarm was quickly struck followed later by a third. After an initial interior attack firefighters were ordered to go defensive for fears of roof collapse. One resident was transported to a local hospital.
