Cincinnati: Three killed in 2-Alarm house fire 1/17/26

Cincinnati fire crews were dispatched to a house fire in the Spring Grove Village neighborhood Saturday evening after multiple calls came in for a house on fire. Crews arrived to find heavy fire showing. There were reports of multiple people inside the house. One victim was pulled from the second floor of the house and was transported to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. After more then 75 minutes on scene two more victims were located inside the house. It took more than 90 minutes to fully put out the fire.

1st Alarm: Engine 34, Engine 51, Engine 12, Engine 19, Ladder 20, Ladder 32, Ladder 19 (RAT), Rescue 9, Medic 51, Medic 32, ALS 34, District 2, District 3, Safety Officer 2
Engine 38 and Engine 20 were the first due on the box and were on other runs at the time of dispatch, both diverted to the fire. Medic 38 added to the run after clearing another run. A second RAT was requested and Ladder 2 was dispatched for that.
2nd Alarm: Engine 2, Engine 32, Ladder 29, Rescue 14, Medic 29, ALS 32, +ALS 35 (s/c)
