I'm with you on this one Grump. I remember the L.A. City Fire Dept being very upset with this T.V. program. I think it only ran for One Season.

One season to long. By the way I will try to hit up with E-42/L3/Sq1 to see who is the house company for "Chicago Fire".

Strange how near the end of the clip the fireboat decons the incoming units BEFORE they operate......must be the old "wet me down im goin in"......can you imagine if that water was from Newtown Creek bet BKLYN & QNS ?

Ha-ha-ha ... The Brothers would be getting showered with body parts (human), a wide array of chemicals, , car parts,  and human waste ... Truly a great vacation spot for recreational diving and sport fishing ...

Grumpy,

I believe they will be filming Chicago Fire at Engine 18's, or so the rumors go. The show will feature a house comprised of 5 fictional companies, Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3(only the box-style rescue, no snorkel 2nd piece), Ambulance 61, and Battalion 25. Interesting how, according to some photos and videos, "Squad 3" has a unique paint scheme(black stripe), as does Ambulance 61(blue stripe). Also, they were filming an MVA for the show on Columbus Dr. in the Loop. Funny how Squad 1 would really be the 1st due Squad for that location.
