It’s going to be for special events not a full time unit. Will carry the tethered drones on it I believe. Command Tac 1 was using it. They had talks of a 2nd Command Tactical inservice but the 1st One is not even a real unit yet guys are still assigned to there old companies. They wanted to move CT1 to Manhattan and other to Brooklyn but that flopped because the spot in Manhattan wasn’t good enough. Also it might be used for Relief of Drone Operators. There trying to get a 5th Man which would operate the truck at SOC and do all the calls they have to do. Data Specialist it’s called.

Used a lot more than Air Recon and a-lot cheaper so maybe we all will see a 2nd inservice

Is CTU stll located at HQ at Metrotech? As a Part 107 drone guy myself I find their activities fascinating. Anyone have any connections there? Would love a tour when I am in the city next.

They are with Rescue Operations on Rosevelt Island

Might be a 2nd CTU added in the future. Working on getting something else for a Rig for them as the PRU truck doesn’t have enough room
