The fire broke out while the cruise ship Freedom from the Carnival line was at a pier in the Grand Turks Island. Two ladies on board the ship were enjoying some coffee as the ship was tied up at a pier. Passengers from another ship tied up to the same pier brought the fire to their attention & the ladies sounded the alarm.
