The Randolph District FD, Cumberland FD and Farmville FD responded to another working fire in less than 24 hours. This time it was a 2 story wood frame occupied private dwelling at 12 Salem Church Rd. The woman who owned the residence started up a wood stove which she didn't realize was connected to a former chimney that ended inside the 2nd floor wall setting the wall and attic on fire. An aggressive interior attack was initiated as well as the roof was vented. The alarm came in at 1058 hours and fire was under control at 1139 hrs. Companies picked up at 1245 hours.
