Dix Hills NY (Suffolk) Working Fire (FATAL) 12/14/22

According to the news reports, Dix Hills FD responded to a fire reported at 0253 HRS. Suffolk PD arrived first on scene and attempted to make entry but were unable to due to the cottage being fully involved. Dix Hills was assisted at the scene by Deer Park, Commack & Greenlawn Fire Depts. The cottage was occupied by an 32 y/o woman and her dog (both did not make it). The fire was called in by property owner, the victim's parent.
