This certainly makes a lot more sense that electric trucks do. If the Chiefs car runs low on battery power so what but if a fire truck runs low you could have significant problems! Besides it looks like the chief in Durham got himself a nice new hotrod! An electric F-150 with a topper in the back would make more sense but those are backordered for over a year out!

The Deputy Chief at DFD is the equivalent of Chief of Operations (FDNY), is next after the COD, so this is not an active front line chief's vehicle, for now those are still Tahoes
