Incident Location: 150 Hoffman Avenue
On the afternoon of Friday, January 24th, 2025, the Elmont Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Hoffman Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets. Firefighters battled heavy fire on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling that sent one occupant to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Elmont Assistant Chief Dubas (Text Credit K2M).
