So seems new policy is that EMS has to give fire the Rundown of responding EMS units to a 10-75. Mainly the first ALS, BLS and Boss.  Bronx All Hands last night the dispatcher gave it over the air to the Division, not sure if that will happen every time.

I have to re-read the directive when I get back to work. We are to advise the IC "Medical Branch Resources are responding" when EMS gives it to us. We are also to document the EMS Job#, and what Dispatcher we spoke to. We always did both, now it's in writing. As far as giving a rundown of units, I don't think we have to give that on the air, but have to document it in the incident history in Starfire. I'll look again when I get back to work and have more info for you later if Frank doesn't beat me to it. And Tom is correct, this is what I would call the positive outcome of that fatal fire. We've been required to do the EMS Staging Area for about a year now, if I remember right.

Thanks for keeping us updated. It does make sense, but as was mentioned, maybe not the details of which FDNY/EMS units are on the scene.
