Yeah really , lol how are they going to manage that ?

Regarding E 65 if you look at tbendick's comment on 4/17/12.........The question has already been answered for you

There's more coming. I know that 162/82/Bn23 are supposed to be moving soon. I didn't know about 89/50 though.

The 23 Bn. is going to E168 for the duration. Not sure about 162/82 although I heard where but senility stepped in and took the location. The 23 is now really going to put some mileage on the rig.

The title of the thread makes no sense.
Well, it started out as a Bronx firehouse renovation thread, but so as to be politically correct and fair, we have incorporated all of the boros that have renovations under way. We can't play favorites here. ;)

Even if we stuck to the bronx, the title still makes no sense.  ;)

Well I went to the Garden for the Rangers Game 4 viewing party and decided to take a trip up a 7th ave to see the cage by Engine 26. I wish the weather was a bit better, but it was still really interesting to see Engine 26 in the house and Engine 65 in the street. The only thing that really makes me wonder is how the house can accommodate "double" the usual staff... kitchen table space, sleeping area, etc.

To Tommy B: as I think 69 Mets commented on L33 being in a cage on Jerome Ave, how many times have you been pointed in the wrong direction since going into the cage?

Engine 26 was a double company for many years having two full crews on duty at the same time, two pumpers and two hosewagons all stuffed in there. ;)
