Units dispatched @13:59 to 526 Main Street, in the area of Kennedy Dr. & Pierce St., for a possible structure fire, 3 Story MD. Upgraded to a working fire.

LCCC911 – Caller states smoke from an apartment, oxygen cylinders inside @14:00

C21 – Heavy fire showing rear of a 3 Story MD, working fire at this time, send the SRN @14:04

C21 – Mayday x2, RIT activated @14:20

C21 – Conducting PAR on all units, both maydays cleared, RIT rescued 1, 2 FFs to GCMC Trauma @14:26

C21 – EVAC tones activated to clear everyone from the structure, heavy fire all floors, going strictly defensive @14:28

C21 – 1 ALS, 2 BLS extra to the scene @14:30

Listening to it, it really sounds like it got away from them quick. It was all normal, Chief calling out assignments, 2nd due hitting the plug, water on the fire and then all of a sudden WHAM! MAYDAY!MAYDAY!FF DOWN!....MAYDAY!MAYDAY!2ND FF DOWN!....RIT ASAP!!!....C21 TO COUNTY, GET ME 2 ALS IMMEDIATELY!

I thought C22 was family. It’s not. Figured C21 was “funny company” and C22 was black Diamond.
My cousins in Manhattan so I can’t ask her if her dad went (which I’m assuming he did)
