My first Captain in 46 Engine when I transferred into the company in April 2004. Frank was an absolute Gentleman, and the consummate professional. He actually got me there, and him and I became very tight in the time that I got there, and his passing in 2006.

I came into work Sunday night 12/10/06 6x and relieved the ECC. Frank’s relief wasn’t in just yet, and we had one last run together that I was able to drive him on. By the time we got back from the run, Franks relief was at the firehouse. Frank passed away the next morning, but none of us knew it as he was a bachelor, and lived alone in his small bungalow in Silver Beach, Bronx. After 2 days of not hearing from Frank, one of the LT’s from 46 went to his house and found him deceased. He was only 51 years old. His legacy still lives on in 46 Engine, and those of us who had the privilege to work with him hold him in the highest regards! Continued Rest in Peace Cap! You are dearly missed, and will never be forgotten…..
