Photograph showing  Hook and Ladder 10 and 1st Battalion Chief car in temporary quarters becuase of street repairs in front of the firehouse. Circa 1948.

Chief car is parked in front in the temporary  caging.

.......Good find...'56 ALF alongside bldg is possibly LAD*107 who was 1st due there back then when quartered on New Jersey Ave. The reason Pitkin ave is so wide there is that it used to have an elevated train running on it.
