Mack - Thanks for the clips. Loved the guys standing behind the cab. The guys in our town rode on the side board in the trailer of the tiller. Also loved the big horns in the front of 120’s cab.

True riding the back-step was fun except when it was freezing and your rubber coat was frozen. 🌬😶‍🌫️ Than you hugged the engine cover!

The reason for the 6 FF's is due to the adaptive response with 2 Engines and 1 truck responding to a pull box. I still remember 120 riding with a sign that they did 1000 runs in May of that year. Sure was a time in FDNY that was so busy in Brownsville. But all we hear about is the Bronx. Squad 4 doing 10,000 runs and a fire thrown in for good measure. A time that will probably never be repeated.
