FDNY Radio Question

Depends on what you want handheld or base. I have a Uniden 996P2 its excellent. If you don't want to bother with programming get one pf the Home Patrol scanners. There's alot to consider so if you're new to it research some different models. I have a Motorola HT I use exclusively for FDNY monitoring. I got it used with the frequencies programmed for about $160.
