FDNY Responding on 9/11

Still a shame that so many good people died at the hands of some scum .......NEVER FORGET ! ....NEVER FORGIVE !

I remember seeing a video with about 15 Westchester County fire units arriving on scene, I remember the first few of rigs where from New Roc. I havent seen the video in 3 years or so.

I see L58 has at least 14 firefighters on the rig. Where they all from 45/58 or is the rig responding from a staging point with extra manpower from recall.

Maybe a staging point or you never know it was Tour Change , All of those guys could have hopped on

So terribly sad. These videos, although only showing rigs/emergency vehicles responding, are hard to watch, knowing that many if not most or all of the guys riding on them would never come back.

Also, it was during a shift change and many companies had extra guys riding on them. Rescue 1, for example, was supposed to have I believe a crew of I think 6, but ended up with 10 as the call came in during the morning shift change. And to think that no one riding Rescue 1 that morning returned. The same went for many, many other companies that tragic day.

From the videos, although Ladder 58 didn't lose anyone, Ladder 21(2nd vid) lost 6 guys in the South Tower.

R.I.P. FDNY 343.
