Ferguson Blanket

I've found this kind of blanket on the rescue 2 website. Could someone explain for me where it is used and show me how this thing looks like. Thanks in advance

Originally there was a "Ferguson Rescue Pack" it resembled a traditional Body Bag but with more straps ....it was made of Canvass & was used to raise or lower a victim as it had loops to tie to & or to use as Handholds...we carried that version on R*2 until it finally became deteriorated in the '80s ....not sure what a more modern version might be today.
