"PLEASANTVILLE ? In the weeks and months after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks ? in which she lost her husband, Charley, a New York City firefighter ? Andrea Garbarini found herself leaning on women she had never known. The fellow New York Fire Department widows, who came to regard each other as sisters, provided her with shared experiences and, later, inspiration to rise above personal pain for the greater good."

Great news story about the wonderful work these women have been doing since losing their husbands, and an upcoming film documenting their efforts.

Thanks George for posting that. I know that many on here have NOT FORGOTTEN. But the very sad case across America is that many have. Many still don't know the pain and suffering that is still being paid. The families that have lost their loved ones on that day, and also the many days that have followed for those Ground Zero workers through the World Trade Center dust and hazards.

Those very Brave Ground Zero Workers that are paying a very step price today with serious breathing, lung, and sinus  problems, cancer etc. I am very Thankful for my general good health every day. But for many, one day changed their lives so drastically.

Or how those wives and families of the lost members have pulled through this terrible day that is still very much apart of their lives. And how today, they work for a Greater Good.

I will certainly do my best to spread the word, so that others who may have seemed to forgotten, will be reminded of a price still being paid by so many.

And let me say "Thank You" to those woman who have done so much for a Greater Good.
