This coming Tuesday night, the 1st of April, we will be holding the monthly Zoom meeting at 7:30 p.m.

I am honored to announce that Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker has been invited to be the guest speaker.

Commissioner Tucker has been on the job for the last six months but has been exposed to FDNY for over 40 years as the city’s # 1 buff.

Robert, after 9/11 realized that FDNY needed additional support. He went and joined the Fire Foundation to help increase the funds that were raised to support various FDNY programs that assisted the firefighters. For all his hard work, FDNY leaders named him an Honorary Fire Commissioner.

So, join us and meet Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker.

Now that the Wall Street Journal has published a three quarter page editorial section profile of NYPD Commissioner Tisch, when are we going to see a similar article featuring FDNY Commissioner Tucker?

Thank you, Atlas for letting us know that Commissioner Tucker will NOT be able to make it tonight for the zoom meeting.

I think most of us understand that in his position, he is a very busy man and hopefully we will get to see him and hear what he says on that May 6th meeting.

I'm planning on tuning in tonight anyway at 1930 hours.
I have found ALL of the ZOOM Meeting of the past very interesting.

Commissioner Tucker DID make a brief appearance prior to his earlier commitment last night April 1
It was certainly a pleasure to listen to some of his future plans.

We were then shown pictures and given a history of the Collyer Brothers by Retired FDNY Dispatcher Gary G., "Dispatcher 56"
Amazing story and unbelievable pictures.

After that many of us joined in on an EMS/Fire related discussion from several members throughout the country.
Lots of ideas and thoughts passed around.

Commissioner Tucker told us he plans to be the guest speaker on next month's zoom meeting, and he is looking forward to it on May 6th..

Thank you "jbendick", "Atlas" and Gary G.
