Frame Place, Flushing

Hi folks, Here's a stretch on memories. Does anyone recall a job that occurred in Flushing, Queens around Frame Place and Sanford Avenue in the late 50's or early 60's? I know it was the dead of winter, went to a "boro-call" and destroyed several blocks of buildings. I tried on-line to find something and unfortunately all of my WNYF's are long gone. Just wondered if anyone recalled this fire. Thanks and stay well my friends.

I was @ that job ...several 2 1/2 sty peak roof frame dwellings...it was a Boro Call & if i remember it was on a Sat night in '62 or '63 around 2100 hrs or a little later ....i always thought it odd that the Street was called Frame Place since the Fire involved frames .....  it basically was confined to one block ......i dont remember anything being written about it .
