Does the Yonkers FD respond to fires outside of Yonkers? This job seems to be near Scarsdale, quite a trip from Yonkers. I don't know the area just looking at a map here. I think on most of the scardsdale area jobs I've seen YFD assigned along with other depts.

Yes they will if called for mutual aid. Greenville fire district covers part of Scarsdale. Typically, Yonkers is called for 1&1 if Greenville has a job. This area of Scarsdale borders Yonkers and in this case YFD E314/L70 have a straight shot down Central Ave into the fire scene

The Greenville Fire District covers the southern area of the Town of Greenburgh. It has a Scarsdale address but is separate from the Village of Scarsdale. Yonkers responds on the 10-75 into Greenville with 1 and 1 and a Battalion. Greenville and Yonkers also run dual responses to borderline properties as well as the Sprain Brook Pkwy between Tuckahoe Rd and Jackson Ave. as well as the Bronx River Pkwy between Ardsley Rd and Strathmore Rd.

L-70 was involved in an MVA at Central X Fort Hill with no reported injuries to members, but injury to at least one civilian. Sq-11, B-1 YPD ESU responded. Word on the street is that a car failed to yield.
