The Madison Square Garden photo reminded me of Jerry Cosby's which was on the opposite side of Eighth Avenue.  And does anyone have an idea if the uniform in the Nedick's (you have to enlarge the photo to see him) is a cop in a greatcoat or a Garden doorman?  I think their uniforms were some combination of purple and red.

I worked at First National City Bank at Flatbush and Church Avenues and we had a Nedick's right next door on Flatbush.

I used to have a hot dog & an orange drink at the Nedicks in Penn Station when I had time between getting off the subway & climbing on the LIRR.
