Many of us know that guy on the right.
That is "tbendick" when he was working at Ladder 46
These days he's working at the ROCK.
On July 1, 2025, "tbendick" gave a GREAT Report on the ROCK as it is today on the monthly nycfire.net ZOOM MEETING.
So many updates and changes with numerous training buildings added.
I just wanted to add what I posted on this site after going on that July 1 '25 Zoom Meeting

The training facility has grown with numerous additions including new classroom design, confined space training, a full sized cargo ship, full sized passenger airplane. I belive donated by Jet Blue Airlines. Even a weather station similiar to what the U.S. Military usesasgeared to provide weather conditions for the amount of outside training activity to take place.
The presenter of the program was FDNY Lt Tom Bendick who shared his knowledge and experience being assigned to the FDNY's Rock.
No other training facility in the entire country can compare.
The FDNYs Training Academy "The Rock" has it all.
