This morning Assistant Chief Shelly Carter was Mother of the Year on Good Morning America

She is the first ever female chief in Hamden

The brothers of Hamden Fire were also gifted a washer and dryer for their gear as well as 5 Thermal Imaging Cameras as well as 10,000 to stop and shop
