Dispatcher reported can see the smoke - Transmitted the working fire 00:18

Cmd reports fire in the basement of a 150 by 200 two story commercial. 00:20
Cmd Transmit the 2nd alarm heavy fire in basement - 00:21
Cmd 1 l/s 00:26
Cmd Transmit the 3rd alarm - 00:28
Cmd Requesting additional Engine above the 3rd Alarm - 0037

Cmd Gas Fed fire - cannot make entry into basement need both electric and gas F/W 00:44

My phone received the alert at 0036. However the Notification tone did not go off (MDT Ring). I live three blocks from the scene and know the owners of the House Of Doughnuts. A institution here in Hicksville of around 50 years and across the street of the Hicksville Fire HQ. Initial reports were of a fire in the basement under the Halal Snacks next door the the HOD. I went to the scene @0630 and by that time the overhaul was still in progress. The scene was secured @ 0800.

7.5 hours for this job.
