Could be or it could be a new 2nd piece for Hazmat 1.  I forget how the hazmat unit for the other rescues are lettered.

https://www.ferrarafire.com/trucks/6260/ I wonder if this is rescue 5 new  hazmat truck

Looks like the current HMTU rigs and is a bit smaller than the current Hazmat 1 second piece

The HMTU looks a little short to be an engine chassis. Enough room for a pump panel and compartment between the cab and the rear axle?

The four Haz-Mat Tech engines (44, 165, 250, 274) have, as second pieces, 2015 Freightliner M2 106 chassis and cab with Ferrara Rescue bodies.
The seven Squad companies? (1, 18, 41, 61, 252, 270, 288) second pieces are 2015 Ferrara Custom cab and chassis with Ferrara Rescue bodies.

Based on that that means is looks like it would be going to a squad company.  I wonder if possibly the rumor we've been hearing for a long time is true that Staten Island is going to get a squad company?  Certainly adds some credibility to that rumor anyway.

Battalion10Buff's reply has a picture of a HMTU from E-44 that is a Ferrara Custom Cab and not a freightliner
