Thanks "R1" for posting that link. As most probably know, we are hoping to visit some of those areas that have suffered the most from Storm Sandy in October, around the First Anniversary. Alot has been cleaned up since then, but there are still some areas where only foundations exist from the fires.
As I understand it, many FDNY and NYPD members made the area their home. This has gone into the history books as one of its worst diseasters to ever hit New York City and the surrounding areas.
