Indianapolis fire crews were dispatched shortly after midnight to a vacant apartment complex for a report of a fire. Heavy fire was found on all floors of the building. During an initial interior attack one firefighter fell through a hole in a floor and a mayday was declared. The firefighter was able to self extricate and was checked out and was uninjured. The fire was brought under control after 35 minutes.
