Former New York City Office of Emergency Management commissioner & NYPD Chief of Department Joseph Esposito has died after a battle with cancer, Mayor Eric Adams announced late Monday. He served as a Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Buildings at the time of his passing. RIP.
