May you all continue to Rest In Peace and we, of the grateful society, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
 
Don't forget that Lt. Col. Earl Rudder led 225 Army Rangers up Pointe du Hoc on Omaha Beach with the aid of scaling ladders donated by the London Fire Brigade.
 
Continued Rest In Peace to all the brave heroes who fought that day. And thank you to the few we have left we owe you a debt that can't be repaid. I hope one day to visit Normandy and pay my respects there.
