CNG, LNG, propane all dangerous. I remember being told to use the ‘rule of Thumb’ approach. Stick your hand out and raise your thumb if you can see it around your thumb your to close!
Hope for speedy recovery and walk away lucky. This job can kill you in to many ways 🙁

I buffed the Brookside gas pipeline explosion in the middle of the night in October, 1978. I was ten miles away; it looked like sunrise and sounded like a jet airliner taking off. About a mile away later, it sounded like the world was coming to an end. The flame was several hundred feet high.

Natural gas is a boon to society. When it's compressed and on fire, you don't want to be anywhere around!
