I did a Walkaround of FDNY's Oldest Pumper still in the fleet. This Pumper is a 1998 Seagrave 1000 GPM Pumper that originally belonged to Engine Co. 33 in Manhattan. The Piece was one of the first to arrive on 9/11 & survived the collapse of the North Tower that morning. SP98026 is its number. I believe its the last 98 Seagrave, I photographed Reserve 520s which have since been auctioned off. I hope the department saves this piece since it has lots of history & men that were lost on it that day. Although I know that never has happened in the past :/

are there more Pre 9-11 units left in service?
Other than that Pumper, 238s foam tender although OOS still inside the firehouse. 3 Tower Ladders that are spares from Pre-9/11. I will be doing a walkaround video of Ladder 9's 2001/1999 95' Tower Ladder soon. 2 or 3 2001 Seagrave RM spares as well, Ex Ladder 24's 1999 Seagrave RM at the rock. Field Comm Spare as well.

It was good to see E168/EMS 23 quarters again. A few changes I could see that weren't there when I retired almost 13 years ago.

Who is responsible for maintaining g the reserve trucks and driving them around. I know Ladder 706 at 92/44 quarters hasn't moved in close to a year.

Your question was already answered here last year.

As well as your comment about 706 not moving at 92/44 when it in fact has moved/been maintained.

Not only are the reserve rigs on the pmp schedule, they’re started by the companies they are quartered with.

Yea, the rig wouldn't startup & the battery was dead. Couldn't get a Light Demo Video of the 98 Rig :/
