I read an article elsewhere that the damage to the truck was caught by only 10 pounds of explosives! So much for the truck being designed to contain explosions!

The lid was 2 blocks down the street from what I read! 10 pounds did that?! Low bid design at work.

The 'experts" in the hood would never have made this type of miscalculation. And if they did, it would have described in a manner not fit for the
kids.
So, who got the RIP?

I don’t know, I wasn’t there so I won’t comment. What I will say is there were times over my career where myself or another member made a mistake which could have been serious, but we skated. They’re just human like the rest of us.

We have all been there. The problem is this was well past "could have been serious", the City of LA totally owns it, and now has admitted liability. I don't think a butt chewing in the office is gonna be enough. My experience with explosions is; I didn't know this many lawyers existed.
