LAFD Station 9 was ranked busiest station (all rigs combined) in the country in 2017. Don't know how many companies are housed in station 9 (engine, truck, rescue, etc?) but total # of runs around 33,000.jking7 said:Sometimes you do everything right and everything goes wrong. Station 9 is an extremely busy company with tremendous experience. Never let your guard down and treat every run like it's the real deal!
Thank you for the breakdown!raybrag said:Station 9 has 2 engines (9, 209), 1 truck (9), 1 Fast Response unit (medical unit; think Squad 51)(9), 3 Rescue ambulances and 1 reserve ambulance. Yes, they have a large total number of responses, but according to Station 9's Captain, 80% of their calls are medical, with the vast majority of those being overdoses. So of those 33,000 runs, roughly 6,600 were non-EMS. Still a respectable number, but not HUGE.
