How does LA County FD's configuration differ from LA City FD's?

As far as I know, L.A. County FD does NOT use Task Forces or Lite Forces like LA City FD does. Each Engine or Truck responds as a totally seperate unit similiar to what most FDs do across the country.
Right. In L.A. County, these use Tiller Quints for their Truck Co.'s, which they sometimes refer to as either "Quints" or "Light Forces"(as they can perform the tasks of both an Engine and/or a Truck. But as far as I know, there are no "Task Forces".

A quint in Lacofd is a tractor drawn aerial with a pump capability, it has a pump pNel but carries no water.

A LF in LacoFD vernacular is a teactor drawn aerial with no pumping capability, such as Light Force 170, interestingly LF 170 is one of the busiest truck companies in the usa, they are in a neighbourhood adjacent to South central LA, although they run a huge number of ems runs they also have a high number of working fires to their credit.

One of the ideas behind the 200 series engines, for LAFD and limited number of LF engines with LAcoFD, is in the hot fire season, the 200 series engines and LF engines are a reserve capability that can be deployed to wildfires in california relevant to the agencies commitment to a mutual aid agreement. Tis would leave the teucks as active, just without their respective engines.

Im not sure LAcoFd does this as their Lf trucks are LTI trucks with no pump, so they may keep the LF engine permenantly with the tiller.
